Only 100% Australian Merino Wool is used for BUFF Merino products. It’s mulesin-free sourced. Adding elastane makes the fabric stretchier and allows it stay in shape better with a loose fit.

It’s warming when chilly and can cool you when sweating in the heat. It’s the same function that makes the sheep survive the hot Australian Outback and the cold & windy winter nights. No wonder, the BUFF® Merino Lightweight fabric is the most popular choice in the outback.

Cotton is horrible when wet. It gets heavy, feels damp and clings. Add cold weather, and your well-being goes south. Merino Wool fabrics naturally manage moisture. It’s the way the wool prevents the sheep from catching a cold when wet. It can hold up to 30% of its weight in water and still feel dry

Imagine having something smelly around your face. Australian Merino Wool prevents odours – Naturally. It encapsulates odours within the wool where bacteria can’t thrive.
